I really hope you like this video! Twenty One Pilots have been a little up and down for me throughout their discography but Trench is incredible. Let me know what you think about the album down below! And who should get one of these episodes next?

<didn't think this was gonna be necessary but:
hello. I called "house of gold" a love song. it is a song about Tyler's mom…and how he loves her. not all love songs need to be romantic. didn't think it would be that hard to comprehend. thank you for coming to my ted talk>

I also really liked Trench's story. i know middle school me didn't realize that it was a publicity stunt but I thought the Dema lore connecting to blurryface was really cool.

Vessel is my favorite Album of theirs, they've always been important to me as my mom showed me them when I was 5. Ever since they've been in my playlist

I personally stopped being a fan around when Trench was released (not for any reason, my taste in music just changed and Trench wasn't my favourite in sound) but maybe I should give it another chance. I loved Legend from Trench and I cry when I hear it.

Vessel is the best! Though I love 21 p for being able to discuss and expose deep topics like mental illness into the popular consumism

The first twenty one pilots song I listened to was morph… I first heard it around two years ago, when I was going through a pretty tough time… I listened through it while standing outside on my deck at midnight in the dead of winter… it was almost cathartic the way I felt in that moment… after that song was “disintegration anxiety” by explosions in the sky, and the whole time I listened to it felt so melancholic…

Most of their emo stuff isn't really a flavor I enjoy but since they jump through so many genres and styles there's something to dig. Trench is probably the first one I've been able to listen through front to back which is saying a lot since I fucking hated Car Radio and Stressed Out when they came out. At first I had the notion that they were pandering for money but that release convinced me they have more genuine motives. The story of Trench still reads like a young adult novel to me though so they've got a lot of time to improve. I call em' a mixed bag.
