When the first Star Wars film came out in 1977, it told a simple story of a hero’s journey, with some groundbreaking special effects, lots of excitement, and a killer score. It was one of the biggest movies of all time, and the story has only continued to expand since then, including prequels, sequels, and spin-offs.     Well the star war series kind of tried to show us what happens through out the gallaxies . And the whole wars are about power one side trying to save the universe and other side trying to destroy it. They are trying to destroy because they want to create imbalance and second thing to have control of every soul existing. So choose your side wisely yourself and it is actually very very manipulative so think before you choose sides wisely.

    You mean to say, after all these years and the amount of views it has… you thought you had to explain it to anyone?
    Might I ask… Who the hell are YOU, that it all comes clear? Or did you label your video just to get the clicks, whether or not you thought you knew what you were talking about?

    How about that? Looper is gonna finally explain Star Wars, in it's entirety, in under 17 minutes, so that us dumb people (who've seen it MILLIONS of times) will understand what it's all about. Right. Sure. Whatever.

    Watching this ahead of the release of Star Wars Outlaws.

    I finished both Fallen Order & Jedi Survivor, but Outlaws is going so deep into the lore I feel like I need to watch this.

    When you take into account that Palatine was already living beyond the physical realm when Vader tried to kill him, the whole 1-9 story arc makes sense. He could only have been killed forever by his own bloodline, and a decendent of Skywalker. He was too powerful. He was the puppet master behind everything. When you get this, the sequels & prequels make a lot more sense. They work together. I think the real issue is that no one was paying attention to the prequels.

    Every time i watch this i am more impressed. It's like someone said make the most efficient video explaining the Star Wars universe as best as you can. So good and so many questions answered. 😊

    Thanks. You watched it so I don't have to. I did see the original film on a very big screen in Leicester Square shortly after it came out. Not seen any others

    I didn't think this was all that great a movie when it came it. The hype took me to the theaters more than anything else. Princess Leia's hairdo reminded me of hamburger buns. Then that bar scene where Obiwan is negotiating with Han Solo looked like the reject cast from the muppets. Don't ever cast a movie in an ugly desert! Really, the only reason why this franchise could go on was the sequel was better than the original, with the exception of Yoda -another misbegotten muppet. John Williams music brought epic bravado to every moment I was thinking, Lucas has got to be kidding me.

    I'd give this overview an 9/10. Maybe it's just the style of these movies, but the overview of the first three movies (phantom menace – revenge) is so much better than the explanation of the second and third trilogy (new hope – rise of skywalker) because of the social and political explanations. Like it's all just a summary of the movies and there's no broader meaning from them. Also where is it said that Darth Sidious is thrown into a reactor core?? I wonder how long it took Looper to find that. Also, why tf is he talking so fast?

    The worst thing about Star Wars was Solo and the sequel trilogy mainly Rey, the Mary Sue that just had power with any long term training and that bullshit end claiming to be a Skywalker……..NOPE!

    I kept trying to watch Star Wars but never had a clue what was going on, ever.

    These entire-series-stories-explained are awesome! I had always thought Natalie Portman was Leia. But.. Okay…

    So to sum it up, Star Wars is about governmenty-battles for domination and destruction, good guys, evil guys, sometimes not knowing which team a person is choosing, resisting temptation, rescues from friends, sacrifices, surprising origins, destinies, monsters, sword fights, lasers, explosions in space, women with strength, men with heart, robots, slugs, and apocalypse-clothing with creepy helmets on top. Got it.

    After listening to the whole story, it’s obvious just how messy the sequels were. A clear story was being told until it get disjointed at the end, and I’m left with more questions than answers.

    so after the empire falls luke starts a school creating new jedi with ben solo as his personal apprentice and from the rebellion begins a new era of peace with a new order of jedi and there is no mary sue granddaughter of palpatin or some simp kylo ren or bad writing or anything really, star wars just ends? got it.
