The only thing that bothers me a lot about the plot is at the end where they made the New California Republic seems like the "good guys". It is more complex and nuances in the game (like their crazy expansionism, forcing other communities to pay tax for their "protection" after, hiring raiders to murder, etc.) and all factions are grey.

Moldaver told Lucy the truth but how did Lucy suddenly switch? Moldaver led a bunch of raiders attacked Vault 33 and killed a bunch of friends and even maybe families/relatives of Lucy. And her dad never treated her poor once in front of her. But still with all that she just forgot how bad Moldaver was and switch side to her now? It doesnt feel natural and forced because the message of the show now is "capitalism is bad".

No mention of how they changed the lore regarding who started the war.

In Fallout 4 it's clearly established that the Chinese attacked first. The captain of the submarine tell about how he and several other were ordered into positions around the coast and were ordered to fire. Not only does he not state this was a reaction to an attack, he also says it all in a way that implies thsy were the aggressors, and that he was a part of the first wave of attack.

It's true that it had been speculated for a long time who had launched first, but in Fallout 4 it's made pretty clear and definitive that it was China. He laments launching the attack and starting it all. And it's not a decision you make in-game so they have to choose the canon version, it's established fact/lore about what happened before AND outside of your control.

This is either a retcon or they need to later on clarify that Vault-Tec WANTED to start it (or that it was just a contingency in case of peace), but that the Chinese did it first.

One thing that annoyed me….The Enclave didn't seem to be chasing after the cold fusion scientist, it's like they just left that to bounty hunters yet they seemed pretty organised akin to the Brotherhood, perhaps maybe even better organised.

I assume it was due to dwindling numbers over the decades and are probably quietly working away till the time is right and they are more powerful.

We do know what the ghoul wants and it had NOTHING to do with cold fusion…
He was only chasing that guy cause of the bounty and then figured out there is something bigger happening so he kept going hoping to come across someone like hank that hr can get snswes from. Had NOTHING to do with the tech. Lol

Vault-Tec didn't drop the nukes unless Barb Howard wasn't told about the timing. Why would Janey be there that close literally looking at an exploding nuke?

the only real problem is the 8 episode format not long enough to really get into the meat and potatoes of it, half the series was spent on back flashes to introduce the world to people who never played the games even network TV back in the day had much longer format for their shows most of the Star Trek were 20+ episodes this would have been much better if it had another 6 episodes IMHO

I love that Lucy's arc didn't end with her becoming all badass over the top killer. The wasteland changes people but it didn't change her. She learned a lot and adapted but was still true to herself. She also wasn't some OP Mary Sue and her abilities were in line with her experiences in the vault. Very refreshing.
