I have to be super blunt here: You almost lost me with the first 7 minutes. And that's nearly half the run time. Then things got REALLY interesting. I'm all for a long scene to help bring in a world, but it did feel a little off to me in terms of the pacing at the start. By the end of it, I wanted more though!!!

Great work! I loved the story and all the inferences you allow the viewer to make on their own about what has happened and what it all means. And I love the message at the end: Let's make love and art and not let the bastards win!

I hate this!
The writing is exceptionally bad, because there's NO REASON for the audience to care about any of these people, and we're never allowed to understand what is happening, or why, or what the stakes actually are, even though any observer who would be present in this story-world would either already UNDERSTAND what's going on & how this nonsense got started, or they'd already be victim to the problem.

What little drama is present exists ONLY because the author has restricted the viewport of the audience into the story. The characters we're following are NOT confused, they are NOT experiencing any mystery. These characters aren't even making any real choices, they're merely reacting to events in a "every single decision you could potentially make is already a foregone conclusion" way.

There's NO reason for a map, there's no reason the map uses symbols, there's no conceivable reason why talking aloud could ever kill anyone and create an evil clone. There's no motive for even an evil faction of magic alien monsters to do such a thing even if they could, which no one can. The audience can't even do a "buy-in" because we're not even shown what we need to expend our "suspension of disbelief" ON, we're just shown ~12 wildly implausible things that don't make a coherent story and the actual plot is left up in the air.

"What does it mean?"
"The author didn't decide, so you should do their work for them and decide for yourself!"

Sorry…dead bodies smells really bad. Spoiled milk smells bad x 1000. You will not going to cry. You will be gagging for air instead of crying. I don't know why the lady needs to open the cover to see your dead friend body when you already knew it is your friend under it. Don't open anything lady!
