A decade ago, I had a criminal justice class and we had to make powerpoint presentations explaining certain crimes and we had to use an example from the news of someone being arrested for said crime. I was picked to make one about possession of CSAM and used Ronald Brown's arrest as my example, since at the time (and honestly still) I had a fascination with uncanny, low-budget, or just obscure kids puppet shows and finding humor in them (I was quite a fan of Everything is Terrible and similar zany archival projects) and finding out about what happened with the guy behind the scary-ass Marty puppet was upsetting

I remember seeing this often in Michigan on TCT or TBN on Saturday mornings for years. More memorable around 1993-94. I was born in 1979. There was another show on after it called "Kids Against Crime" with Mr. T.. My brother and I would laugh at it. There was another show called Becky's Barn, and I'm trying to think, but I feel there was another bigger production show aimed at kids. You could win a watch that looked similar to those McDonald's ones in the late 80's on Joy Junction. I used to watch and be intrigued with non-traditional or weird tv. Strange broadcasts and productions.
