I can agree with a lot of this like I feel like I do with a lot of your reviews but gotta big disagree on Broken. While I can understand how one would get to the conclusion of the song's theme being "we're both broken and we can be together and fix each other", that's not how I ever interpreted the song. I was still reeling from a huge personal tragedy a few years before that completely tore up my life, the love of my life had just married someone else they weren't in love with because of an unexpected pregnancy, and I was hopelessly in love with another of my best friends who would fit under a very extended umbrella of indiepunkemo, and it seemed like that friend was also pretty depressed and that they felt like maybe they were broken or at least very unhappy as I felt I was at the time. I felt a kinship with them, but I never expected them to fix me. I was sure that we both got each other in a special way and that if we got together we would be a bright spot for each other while we worked through the rest that life had dumped on us in our young lives. And Broken made me feel like I wasn't alone in hoping to find a bright spot from someone special while we fought for better days. It paints a very vivid picture for me in my head when I hear it, and I still think it manages to be pretty catchy despite being distantly hopeful rather than upbeat and positive. I'd have to work out the whole list to be sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if Broken made it into my top ten for the songs you listed in this video, though I admit to having a strong emotional bias and that ranking may not be on objective merit alone.

Forgotten category : Latin one hit wonders: "Almost Like Praying" Lin-Manuel Miranda featuring Artists for Puerto Rico ( peak #20), "Te Boté" Casper Magico, Nio García, Darell, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, and Bad Bunny (peak #36), "Dame Tu Cosita" El Chombo featuring Cutty Ranks (peak #34), "Otro Trago" Sech and Darell featuring Nicky Jam, Ozuna, and Anuel AA (peak #34),

The thing that sucks is that Gotye genuinely made some extremely good music, but once everyone found out about STIUTK, he just decided to drop it. We won't get anymore fun art pop music anymore 🙁

Frank Ocean being a one hit wonder makes sense to me. I don’t think of him as being a radio guy. I think of him as the album I listen to while driving to a wedding and wondering why I’m single while barely paying attention to traffic.

I was very confused why Karmin was on here since "Brokenhearted" and "Acapella" were both huge hits… turns out Acapella totally flopped in USA but was massive everywhere else in the world 😂 In fact, in Australia it charted HIGHER than Brokenhearted.
