THE BOYS Ended . . . and it’s complicated

Its not as bad as GOT for sure. But the last season was pretty pathetic, especially coming off of season 4.
1. Every scene with Hughie and Starlight was the same boring crap each time. You could literally skip all of their scenes and you wouldn't miss a thing.
2. There was supposed to be a huge showdown between Homelander and the Boys.
3. Homelander magically got weaker after taking V1.
4. Homelander literally flew to space and back in like a second to kill that guy but all of a sudden hes struggling to fly away in the whitehouse.
5. Homelander literally has xray vision but for some reason never goddamn uses it until the ONE time in the entire show, someone is behind lead, OK. -_-
6. Kimiko adds very little to the show even though she can talk, again, just each scene is boring.

There are so many more issues but jesus, consistency should be at least doable.

I don't care what you say but we needed more pathetic Homlelander without powers to further push HOW pathetic he is by how drastic his decisions are.

23:10 dude what are you talking about? the show was never meant to Parody Right Wing extremism. it started out as a show about Evil superheroes that did funny things and the Humans were trying to put them behind bars for it. Also what hell are we currently in right now?

(Aron OhFather,) Daveed Diggs was also amazing in Hamilton. why he was great when singing and acting.

Except Eric Kripke already said that he was basing Homelander off of Trump. So idk why u think it's relevant to say the comic book version was made before Trump ever became president .

I think homelander giving Ryan the diet omniman treatment was the worst thing he did this season, still fucked up but yeah he shouldve done more

it felt like they made every episode in a vacuum and then realized "oh wait… we need to make a cohesive ending"

nah, nothing insane about moving troops or national guard into cities that openly defy the law. It's insane to think that it's insane.

I hate the dialogue in the boys. They ruined Kamiko ngl. She didnt say all this gross stuff in sign language so idk why they are making it like its hard for her now to decipher whats appropriate or inappropriate for her to say. They joke a lot about things that i wish were more emotional, like frenchy and butchers death but whatever.
I agree i wouldve loved that ending of MM finding soldier boy. I felt like soldier boys end was kinda lack luster.
Generally i think it hit all the notes of the big characters. I liked that butcher didnt get a happy ending. That ryan chose himself. And i like that he died and Hughie was the one that did it. His ending felt right. Homelanders ending felt right also, i just wish his death was longer but whatever. You saw who he truly was at the end and that was satisfying enough.

You’re definitely high out of your mind if you’re even pretending for a second that Homelander didn’t turn into a 0-dimensional Trump parody. Come off the copium, dude.
