I really enjoyed this video. It's not about tech. That's refreshing. 😊

MK sold the company long ago. Don’t keep aligning him with it. That said, both he and the brand are crap and has become a symbol of ghetto people trying to look fashionable. It never had a chance – merger or none.

As soon as women get involved reason is abandoned.

2:43 Why do you say 'woman' in the video instead of the plural 'women' which would be correct in that context? I recognise lots of YouTubers do this recently but I did not expect it from someone who clearly has an education and intelligence so understands the difference.

Well having internal documents basically saying "bwah ha ha, we shall reduce competition" was why they lost. If they had just not said the quiet part out loud, even in internal communications, they'd probably have gotten away with it.

I’m into style and fashion and high quality goods. Anything designer I buy second hand, because any quality designer brand product that lasts second hand, the quality is obvious: especially stuff like the stitching and design. Those two cannot be ‘faked’ without being obvious.
From what I’ve seen, designer & high quality only happens with 5% of a brands products: think Gucci Loafers, Birkin Bags or Ferragamo Tramezza etc. the rare but flagship items of the that brand. Absolutely everything else (especially most brands Ready to Wear clothing) is lowest bidder stuff. They might splurge on a unique material, but most times subpar compared to other high quality items.
It has taken me years of inspecting high quality clothing and accessories to be able to tell the difference, but once you can it’s like a sixth sense and you realize that most of the high street shops are just flash and no substance. Pure Veblen goods social signaling.

Wilson's leather works just fine for me. Quality, stylistic, and reasonably priced. 🙂

Styles are always changing. But the change of salary cannot keep up with the price. Then every penny becomes very important. I often choose hotdups now. If you don't care about what others think, you can save a lot of money for yourself.
