You forgot to mention Jaguar’s crazy killing method. They literally bash their prey’s head open by biting the back of the head. This is mostly done on mammals.

My cat snorlax is a heavy boy but I've gotten him to lose 2 pounds since we got him a lil over a year ago. He's my chubby hungry boy but he's got to lose the pounds, I get him to run up and down the stairs by not getting up when he asks me to in the morning so he runs up and down the stairs for like an hour thinking I got up to feed him when I really didn't. It's a slow process but it's been working

With the over feeding with your own cat, have you tried prebagging her food? I do that with my dog who needs to gain weight but not all at once and people don’t get that lol. I make it very clear to not feed more than the bag and it usually really helps!

when you said "have you seen a lion cub?" I was like "I've held a lion cub!" ok so.. as an adult i know this was a bad thing but like it was 1979 and I was 4 and they had a caged (and most likely drugged) mama lion with her cubs in the local mall and you could get your picture taken holding a cub… so I snuck off from my dad and did

Yes do an episode on Punnet Squares. I raised sheep for 20 years. They were a cross between polled (no horns) breeds and a horned breed (Shetland). I found that the frequency of horned individuals mirrored the same frequency that Male Pattern Baldness shows up.

I would love if you could go more into all the different lion pride dynamics and such! I think I heard about like trans lionesses??? Where females took on the roles and behaviors of males in the pride! I would love to hear your research on queerness in animals in general!(maybe for next June or something 🙂 )

When you say a species "appears" I think you should clarify whether you're saying when they genetically diverged from their closest living/dead relative, or when the first found fossils are from, i.e. appearing in the fossil record.

Your new cat looks like the mother of my 1year old orange kitten, he was found with his mom and siblings living under a dumpster at an apartment complex and the maintenance guy found them and found them homes. It's probably not connected, but we're in Washington State and crazier coincidences have happened lol.

The snow leopard camo pic is weird because until you see the cat you have no perspective to identify the size of the rocks and snow. Big rocks and snow look the same as small rocks and snow.
