I know this is a 5 year old video but I just wanted to point out that I'm pretty sure the first video was a version that had descriptive audio on (yk, for the visually imapared)

I'm way late to this. I think the first video is an accessible version with closed captions and screen reader narrations. I turned the screen reader on my TV by accident once and it had the same experience.

I never got sex ed ((except every girl in my year getting gathered into this room (when we were supposed to be in class) and being told about periods, they never explained why but they just said "women bleed because of puberty, ask for pads if you need, ok?" and that was my sex ed.)) since I can't go to school so this helped!
My friend told me that her teacher said (it was an all girls school) "Now girls don't get aroused" or something like that when talking about male genitals… so i'm glad

My sex ed experience was actually weirdly good, especially in highschool, like the person who taught us safe sex was an actual nurse. But then they decided to bring in this 50+ year old woman with 0 qualifications to talk to us about porn and all she said was that if we watch porn we'll end up sa-ing women AND CHILDREN and that watching porn directly funds pedophiles… She was an odd one

I consider my sex ed being decent. We covered basic anatomy (and I do mean the bare minimum) and STDs. Also if you had sex you would get pregnant and die. But even still it was severely lacking. Nothing about how to have safe sex, no what sex even is, no bodily functions, nothing about consent.

who else was reminded of the movie "The Peanut Butter Solution" after seeing the boy with the shampoo lol. any gen x parents? as an anecdote, these new woke sex ed videos make me want to puke. how gross and disrespectful. such crude sexual humor. if i was a child watching something like that, i would go home completely terrified of sex. it would traumatize me for the rest of my life. these are shown to children who dont know any better. its almost like the education department hired the most sexually depraved people to write the material. these people clearly havent spent any real time around children that is for sure. and they arent even trying to hide it. its so obvious.

for some reason, my school did it so that the class would be segregated by gender to learn about the things they'd face.
for girls, they told us about menstruation, and for boys it was wet dreams. i have no idea why they thought they were comparable but i guess its stuff coming out of you?

you'll be shocked to find out, this led to girls not knowing how erections worked and guys not knowing menstruation was a thing or basic facts about it.

Narration in the first one might have been for accessibility reasons, like visually or mentally impaired students? Just a thought. It does come of goofy for sure.
