Wanted to shake things up a little bit! It’s just a wild guess but I don’t think many of you guys are big fans of folk. Wanted to tell you about one of my favorite bands in the genre.

I gotta disagree with you. I much prefer their older stuff. Especially Four Thieves Gone. But everything up the The Carpenter was pretty good.

Love folk but wasn't a huge fan of these guys. Great poetry and storytelling, but music is also about sound and theirs never resonated with me. The Barr brothers, Ray Lamontagne, Ben Harper and Leif vollebekk I find capture sound and poetry. For some trivia check out Mountain Man a precursor female folk group to Sylvain esso they were great. Keep making vids and discovering music!

Yesss. Didn't expect you to like this band at all.
The Avett Brothers is one of my favorites. truly under-apreciated. Maybe the americana & the banjo things kind of steered people away.
I hope people will listen to them more, so thank you for this video.
You should make a spotify account for alfomedia and make playlists man. I'll definitely following that.
PS: how the heck i didn't know Judd Apatow had made a documentary about them?
PS PS: now i'm really wondering. Do you enjoy like The National, Bloc Party, or Snow Patrol and interested on making videos about them?

Well put together video. TAB are my favorite band. Largely due to their wonderful songs and unbeatable live shows.
Also personal opinion is that Emotionalism could definitely be group with there latter 4. Paranoia is by far my favorite song of theirs.
Also not mentioned in the video was two LPs The Gleam and The Second Gleam which are both very good as well.

You briefly mentioned them, but what are your quick thoughts on Fleet Foxes?
I'm not heavy into folk music but i do appreciate the genre and Fleet Foxes are one of my fav bands.

I love folk. Fleet Foxes is my favorite band. Also anyone who knows about folk/indie folk knows how good The Mountain Goats are. I’ve never heard of this band though so I’ll to check them out.
