I'm so upset about the QAnon etc and their allegations that all progressive/liberal folks are pedophiles (and maybe even cannibals) and trying to normalize and legalize that repellent behavior. Is our society so sick and out of touch with reality that ANYONE would believe these statements? I value your intelligence and depth with issues, and wonder if you'd be willing to comment.

for eighty percent of the desired effect you put in 20% of the work, the rest of the work, 80%, is used on the last 20%

you always give 100% and you always achieve 100%

    doing science for example:
20% work is experimenting for 80% of the data whilst the rest(80% of the work) is going into data evaluation, the really juicy 20% of data you want to convey to people

most of the times science happens.

100% is fine when it is a passion. If it isn't a passion then 80% is fulfilling enough. If you want to master a sport or hobby just because you love it then that is great and fulfilling. However, things like chores, a job, eating to live, clothes etc can be accomplished with much less effort and get good enough results. For instane you don't need to clean your entire house every week. Just clean the parts you used the most.

I'm so surprised there isn't more engagement on your older videos. This one is really thoughtful and great, thanks for spreading the positivity even 4 years later.

This principle is applied to sports too. I run cross country, and we use the 80/20 rule. If you run 40 miles in a week for training, about 80% of the running should be pretty comfortable. The other 20% or so is reserved for races and workouts in which we run faster paces. If it was 50/50, all of our bodies would fall apart. That 20% is really what makes us fast runners, although the 80% canโ€™t be neglected. Both of them feed off each other

I can solve my Rubik's cube in about 4&1/2 minutes. My first try took me 8 hours! I work at a library, where I monitor our usage statistics…it is common knowledge that 80% of our usage is from 20% of our collection. Peace to you, Janitor. I'm new here. Xo

Yeah….but no. Vilfredo Pareto was a 19th century machiavellian political economist and sociologist who declared that it was impossible to create a utopian society because there would always be a 20% of elites who dominated in relative wealth and power whether or not the society was ideologically republican democratic, atheist, libertarian, christian, muslim or egalitarian or marxist. Among the 20% of elites would be another 20% of a higher elite, 4% of everyone, who would have extreme power and wealth. This was unavoidable in any human society according to Pareto.

About HAKO. Who doesn't think they're "honest, assertive, kind and open minded"?

I think I'm all four of those things, but I might not be. Perhaps I lack self awareness to realise that I'm: dishonest, aggressive, cruel and closed minded.

Honestly. How does anyone know their true nature? How do you know if you're a good person? Isn't being deluded the default.
I'm naturally sceptical about anything I feel about myself, because I'm aware of inherent biases that I have. So even if I think I'm those four things, I'm not really sure. I might be a horrible person, and no one has actually brought it to my attention.

HAKO !!! If you enjoy the Rubik's, a proper speedcube makes all the difference… I highly suggest the GANS Air as its done wonders for my cubing… CubicleLabs and SpeedCubeShop are both excellent sites to get your cubing on ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ™

Hey man. I think 80/20 principle is still applying, though you give 100% effort to make videos, etc. You are still getting around 80% of your results from 20% of the effort. Focusing on that 20% of your actions doesn't make you drop your "score" to 80% of the previous, but it actually rises it, for you are now focusing on things directly connected to successfulness of the outcome, things your passion aims the strongest. So with constantly focusing on that 20% part, you leave needless actions behind while doing actions that brings you best outcomes and that can indirectly mean improving components that lie in old 80% of actions or finding better ways of doing them.
Nice video btw, keep it up.:)

Hey! I'd want to get a tee shirt if they came in women's – men's tees don't look great on me and I'd end up just wearing it to bed if I bought it. I'd want to buy something I could wear out.

๐Ÿ˜ …nearly every video you put out gives me so much hype, that I spam-share them with everyone.

I need you to make a video on how to not be so damn annoying omg.

First of all great video!!! Second HAKO! Third, I'm an artist and I sketch a lot on my breaks at work. Someone told me I was naturally talented and I laughed because HELL NO I WASN'T! I drew at the same level as everyone and honestly the only difference between me and others was that I liked drawing and I wanted to get better so I kept doing it.

There is a 80/20 rule in art as well, but it's something like: 20% of the time is spent on 80% of your artwork, then 80% of your time is spent on the other 20% (which is usually details) Basically, I could use the 80/20 rule and make paintings and illustrations more efficiently, but since I'm an artist, there is no way I'm going to settle down with "good enough". "Ese sรณlo soy yo" = That is just me, though. There is no spanish translation for though, though.

I am an hispanic, but most of the English I have learn I did because of english-speaking youtubers. I felt so proud when I actually get to learn what they were saying without any subtitles.
