if you hold inbetween the water and bottom left buttion in the choose drink menu you can open the door of the machine and take the drink syrups

Coca-Cola makes technical documentation available for anyone to read. As of 2022, the camera on the 9100 Freestyle, the most common model in the US, is not even installed on new units anymore. The feature was never implemented. All other models never had a camera to begin with. The cutout is still there due to manufacturing being out of Coke's hands. The soda machine does not record you and never has. It does track what you pour. They're very open about that

My fav thing is how the machines should have been getting those syrups automatically delivered to the stores, but the mcdonalds my college friends and I frequented, the machine was constantly out of syrup and ultimately, those machines stopped being used at that mcdonalds, and most mcdonalds nowadays. I dont see any of them anymore, except at subway, and I think it's a different company's copycat machine
