They could totally do this movie as a remake. Using the AI car technology, the alien idea theory and something about government 😂😂😂 even more off the rails.
I'm late but, it always makes me chuckle whenever I reread The Stand ever summer when Fran quotes the AC DC song "Who Made Who", she says "Flu Made Who" and then thinks to herself that her dad wouldn't understand an AC DC reference meaning that Stephen King and Maximum Overdrive exist on the Captain Tripps Universe.
I watched this movie when I was bout 8. It was on a VHS that had a whole bunch of Movie Channel movies on it. I was way too young to watch it. Now I've been a mechanic for over 25 years and I think of this movie every time I stick my hand in something I can't really see.

Man this is one of my mom's favorite movies, she loves action sci-fi, ac/dc, and slightly crude comedy (she doesn't like it too obscene, but that first few minutes always makes her laugh. "This machine just called me an asshole" is ingrained into my frontal lobe from how many times she's played it). even though it's a trainwreck of a film, it almost feels like it was made specifically for her lol.
6:20 We don't have the budget to buy 25 pairs of baseball pants, so just wear jeans or slacks. Also the pitching machine is like 5 feet away from 3rd base
