I find Julie's character's position in this, really hard to deal with – Women sometimes say they '…just want to be heard', but giving the solution is a great way of demonstrating that you've listened, heard and understood the problem. It's also a great way of moving on from your boring problems (LOL)

I always offer a solution. I CAN'T HELP IT OK??? i see a problem, i want to fix it. that's just how my brain works. i can't sit and hear you go on and on about how you are so sad and helpless when in fact THERE IS SOMETHING TO BE DONE AND YOU JUST CHOOSE NOT TO DO IT.
I don't know why, but I thought Julie was talking to other person on the phone and her friend thought she was talking to her but she was just being ignored
