    Thought it was going to be a mellow movie about some city professor adjusting to small town culture. The whole movie does a great job simply showing the viewer actual things that happen in real life and letting the viewer decide. Till the end of course, it makes a dramatic bang. If the whole movie are social commentaries on social justice and minority representation, the ending is a concrete message.

    I’m apologizing to all albinos, and ghosts for not being white enough. I’ve taken so many jobs from you, and taking your women. God damn me for being olive skinned and my dad being Mexican. My Swedish mother looks white like you. Damnit!!!

    @Variety, if Thandiwe is truthful
    maybe what Thandiwe should have done is tell the writers and producers to cast a dark skin actress, she could of recommended from lots of a dark skin actress to play that role but she didn't she took on the role herself and now she wants to cry and apologies to dark skin actress/women.
