    During the 3rd Crusade Richard the Lionheart gained the final victory over Saladin at the battle of Arsuf. Causing them to sign a treaty that once again allows Christian pilgrims to visit Jerusalem and all the Holy sites unharmed and unmolested .
    To this day it is legal and safe for me to go to Jerusalem and visit the sites where our God Jesus Christ walked , resided and preached as a Man, where He was crucified,buried , rose again and ascended to Heaven.
    Thus the Crusades were a major success.

    Turns out not like we've been told in the West.
    Assad is generally loved by his people.
    They are harsh because their enemies are harsh – but they DID get rid of ISIS and Alqueda.
    Soon they will also be rid of Alqueda/ISIS' masters – the US empire. Then the US empire will be carved-up just as was the Levant.

    I've been saying "the last letter of the alphabet" Frank or zee Frank. Finally, I find out it's pronounces ZAY (as in say, lay, may, nay, pay and so forth) Frank! Who knew?? When YOU first read his name, did you say zee or zay? (me = zee)

    Ahhh yes, the Arab spring. I had kind of forgotten that hopeful time when true change in the Arab world seemed only a couple marches and a protest away.
    Am I the only one feeling a little silly here in 2019?

    Update: the US did a little fiddling in the Arab states region (what's new the US are always fucking over some government for their own benefit right) in Iraq and Kuwait and hey presto you have a distorted monster who was powered by Islamic religious hatred for the west and those who slept with them called ISIS – amongst other things, originally called Daesh, then IS and ISIL and commonly known as ISIS – well this US created monster is trying to Calafate anything they can and are deeply entrenched in Syria and the minds of those who have an axe to grind. The US and the Russians have been using Syria as a playground extension for the cold war and now the US has pulled out all their troops. this leaves the Turks to come rushing over the boarder to create a 30 mile "no Kurds" zone and allowing Russia to sidle straight up next to Bashar Hafez al-Assad  again so they can throw around their chemical weapons against the Syrian people. Yeah so it's still shit for the poor Syrian people.
