Alpha Forever is a node-based modular synth environment that runs as a VSTi. I will attempt to show you it before catching up on much needed sleep.

“This is the first software version of maths that I could be happy with”
Have you tried the VCV rack Maths clone? Not sure if it’s still in development or abandoned, it wasn’t officially listed in the VCV suppository because I think it might have raised copyright concerns. Haven’t used it in a couple years, but it seemed pretty damn close to the real deal.

That sounds excellent. Reminds me of Tassman but with a better interface.

I would like to give a quick reaction regarding reaktor blocks being monophonic .
Yes that's true .
But , if you're just using the updated fantastic sounding zdf core filters, amps, envelopesetc… , it's so damn easy to create polyphonnc instruments , only requirement is not to be as stupid as a ro ck ..and your set .
All at audio rate , since core cells update at audio rate ., you just create the modules yourself ..( helll , there's a huge core library /macro already ) ., everything is in there all ready if you go into a core cell and right click . ( I am taklking about core macros here )
Blocks was just a smart move tfrom N.I. to get new users into reakor , reaktor has always been capable of audio rate modulation..and that's what it's all about .
That being said , Iam curious about this alpha forever

I'm binging your channel. So glad The Flashbulb decided to make YouTube videos, because you really know your stuff. And this is the most pleasantly technical electronic music YouTuber I've seen 🙂

Looks beautiful. Since you're using FLStudio, I'm assuming you're aware of FL Flowstone (formerly FL Synthmaker):

How do you think that compares?

want to say 2 things. first, Alpha Forever really sounds pleasing to my ears. second, sometimes when you want to make an actual use of synth (in track, not just playing with its design) you just want to deal with knobs and not wires (though still be able to change wires if needed). that's what i like reaktor for.
and probably the additional thing to say is thanks for doing these vids, glad to see you on youtube!

Have you ever tried Audulus? The VST version is a little out of date, but there are some pretty awesome analog modeling filters, but you can open them up and see what makes them sound good. Also, I have totally made things like maths in Audulus. Cool-looking program though, i will definitely check it out when it's released.

This looks absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to get my hands on it.
I did have a question though, at some point in the future, would you be able to a video specifically about Karplus-Strong Synthesis? I've been messing with this type of synthesis lately using Logic X's Sculpture plugin but would love to see how you made a patch like that from scratch and how it all works.
Thanks!

Mind blowing really. At first sight it looks a little complicated but I’m sure if you take time you can get into it and just do whatever you want with this. Maybe this even kills the need to get instrument packs for me and try working with synths for real

Looks, and sounds great, if any of the developers are reading, please think about some sort of presentation mode for the future, because i can see that it might get slightly messy with big patches, other than that, its cool hehe 🙂
