At this point I consider this issue as exclusively a Northern First Nations issue, here in the Creole South most people are mixed and half the tribes have only State recognition, if any official recognition at all. Also the Southern peoples are not glorified and made "cool" by colonizer media. It seems a divisive political bureaucratic money grab, while the government steals the resources that would make tribal members and the tribe self-sufficient and not need to follow colonizer "blood quantum" laws at all. Laws created at the height of Jim Crow legal institutions. The Empire won't fall if it still controls your thinking. Thanks and blessings.
