The scene where they put him on the bus to go to NYC always makes me break out laughing. They make it seem like he's moving to Tibet or something, but he's just moving 225 miles north on I-95.

Everyone in this movie is an irresponsible jerk or a victim of one of the irresponsible jerks. The msic and the scenery are beautiful. The characters, not so much.

3:12 The "gay neighbor" looks like Bronson Pinchot (it's actually a minor actor named Matthew Laurance). Also, this movie produced two songs that became radio staples ("St. Elmo's Fire (Man in Motion)" and "Love Theme from St. Elmo's Fire") but you would only hear the latter on soft rock stations, and it was an instrumental to boot.

I was 20 and in college in DC when i saw this in 1985. I couldn't relate to it at all, their lifestyle was more like 30-somethings. Also, they didn't film it in Georgetown, so DC looks very fake. It was so-so at best

I have seen around 20 to 30 videos so far and yet I have to find the video, which contains the outro. From this point on, it is just suspens, when I hit it and please don't reveal in the comments, which video it is XD
    I freaking love those videos.
I maybe am so hooked, that I could just listen to them, because the actual movie becomes secondary ^^

This is one of those rare films where, if you’ve never seen it…you’re the lucky one. 🥵

One of Joel Schumacher’s two worst stains on the film industry.

I struggled through it one time in the 90s because I love the actors:

ZERO redeeming qualities in any of the characters or the plot. It was wretched. 🥵

You hope it gets better, but it disappoints like a parent with a drug habit.

All that said: thank you, TAG, for this video! 😆

    Love you guys. 🍻 ❤️ ✌️

How did I watch this movie a million times and never know that was a casket they were having sex on! LOL As much as I watched this movie I always kind of hated it at the same time.
