He's named Miles Morales and not Davis because in some versions his father was heavily in crime with his Miles' uncle so the Davis name has a terrible reputation in Miles' neighborhood. Miles' parents gave him his mother's last name so he wouldn't be harassed for having the father he has.

I mean, his mom is Puerto Rican.
I know in a lot of Spanish speaking cultures you have two surnames, your dad's last name followed by your mom's. So his full name would be Miles Davis Morales
I've known a lot of Latinos that used their surname from their mom's side more, just as I knew a lot that used their surname from their dad's side more. Like either would work, as both are correct

Technically…. If he views his name Spider man as an actual entity or the public knows that as his name, Spider-Man’s is correct. Just like you’d say “I met a lot of Jake’s today”

I work at a nuclear plant and was in a security tower during a thunderstorm. It was struck by lightning but l never gained any super powers. I'm a little reluctant to allow myself to be bitten by one of the oversized spiders we have throughout the plant since the lightning didn't work.

2:27 Yes..but he WAS that spider in that universe and they reconned things. The spider happened to be radioactive but the reason it binds all spider varients across the multiverse as a canstant in each is because it was also magic. It was linked to the Web of fate and thus a spider person is created through its existance in each universe.

I think it’s Spidermans. Spiderman is a proper name, just like Ryan. You might say, “There are twenty Ryans in the phone book(Google phone book). And if there were more than one Spiderman in the phone book, the same logic applies.

Miles Davis-Morales would be an accurate surname, his mother is half Puerto Rican. but I think they originally wanted him to be Dominican, just my opinion.
