   The box mine came it said it included 5 games, the 5th being Sonic CD.

   Save your money, biggest piece of garbage -frame rate is crap. You’re telling me they didn’t notice this when they put this damn thing together that it plays like shit !!, returned mine five minutes after playing it. That was the longest five minutes I ever had to deal with.

   Ngl I have a feeling that this thing was rushed out.
   – The box states that Sonic CD is included, yet it ain't in the actual game lol.
   – The "level select enabled" build of 3D Blast is actually a prototype/early build found in 2008 (Prototype 819). Something tells me that My Arcade got the ROMs from online.

   16:03 While there was a Sonic 2-arcade game, it didn't have this menu.

    Seen this at my local bjs wholesale club . It was on sale for $70 but that tiny screen wasn’t it for me , hard pass

    I got the Sonic Joystick Player, and my biggest complaint with that is the sound. It's HEAVILY delayed which is completely inexcusable. It throws gameplay off. In this Mighty Player version, however, you got twice as many Sonic games, and the sound is in sync with everything else. If the only gripe is the small screen size, I'll take it because it's way past better than off sync sound.

    By the way, if you want a classic Sonic game that encourages exploring as well as getting to the end of the stage as quickly as possible, look no further than Sonic CD. You got time-traveling and exploring certain areas that can play a part in achieving the good ending. Now speaking of which, I noticed in one of your previous videos there was supposed to be five games on this thing, the fifth being Sonic CD. There may be that chance that it needs to be unlocked by getting the good ending in at least one of the four games shown here.

    FYI these are only $50 right now at BJs for Black Friday (and the joystick player only $40). I've got my eyes on the Atari Gamestation Go for $130

    Hey Jon, I've heard that there might be an in-game sound delay with the My Arcade Sonic Joystick Player. I know you probably aren't going to review that one, but can you please confirm if that issue exists with your unit? Thanks.

    I throught "MIGHTY" is the character from Sonic Mania and all i saw is a weird-sized arcade machine called "Mighty Player".

    Surprising that for Sonic 3d Blast they use the e3 demo version over the original game (final release).

    Really unfortunate that this turned out to be a disappointment because it had a lot of potential, especially with My Arcade's products being really good lately. All they had to do was make the screen bigger and use the proper retail version of 3D Blast. Crazy how they managed to accidentally use a prototype and not see the "E3 DEMO" as a red flag.

    Yeaaahhhhhno. Putting a 3.5in screen in a unit that large is, not to put too fine a point on it, stupidly ridiculous. Should have scaled the cab down to make things are bit more cohesive, or stuck a larger screen in it, especially at that price.

    Ehh…its certainly no Astro City Mini. Now THOSE (both of them, first model and the V shooter model) are something special with lots of games, great menus, animations, features, menu music, HDMI out and so on…and those were at the time the same asking price as this. $120 right now on Amazon, yeesh. Just four basic games. No part 3. No Sonic CD. A very tiny screen and a very basic menu system. Its almost like (and I hate to say this) that this is the ATGames version of a tabletop Sega. At least the emulation seems accurate….

    Not going for this at all. Sega needs to team back up with whomever did the Astro City Minis and make more of those.

    personally it's missing Sonic 3 also noticed from your earlier post it mentioned 5 games to be included which the one missing from that video is the Sonic CD

    There were arcade versions for Sonic 1 and 2 for the sega model 1, Why didn't they include those

    I would have loved to give away two Sonic Mighty Players, but the product is not convincing in any way. The game selection is really poor, and the screen is small for such a large device at that price. Well, I've pre-ordered two new Amiga 1200s instead. My nephews love everything retro, so it's a better gift.

    Wow, the removal of Sonic CD reduced my interest in these devices from an insta buy to zero interest. What a shame.
