I work in a grocery store and shoplifting is so common that we wore out our welcomes with the local police department. Almost every day they had to come and make an arrest or take a report for shoplifting and they got fed up and told us that we cannot call them to report shoplifters anymore. All we can do now is make them leave and try to keep them from coming back.
