I saw Star Wars in 1977. Watched it 20 times before I hit 30. Vader said Skywalker only. When he said "Luke, I am your father", it hit hard b/c it just felt and hit on a personal scale. Him saying "no, I am your father" could easily just be taken as Vader trolling him. Nothing personal. So when that changed, all of us hard core fans easily know and even can feel the difference. Anyone saying it's ALWAYS been "no" have no idea what they're talking about. Period

the styles of the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's were from Hollywood celebrities. People had less access to TV, movies and there was no internet. Styles were not a consumer choice, you wen to the store and they had the "newest" on the rack.

I do have some of the mandela effect myself. I thought he died in prison. I also remember two ff in Jiffy. Of course, some of the effect could be another CIA mind trick. Those guys were behind the who hippie movement as controlled opposition. We also know the MK Ultra program continued and was very real.

I do not think the timeline has collapsed and no, it does not seem to be speeding up for me. But, I don't watch TV and limit my exposure to social media. But, the idea is an interesting plot for a sci-fi story.

What gets me about idiots that talk about y2k nowadays is they will say, "Corporations and government poured huge amounts of money into preparing their systems for y2k and then, nothing happened, which proved it was all a farce." Ok, dingle berries, they were not pouring money into handling the fall out of y2k. They were pouring money into trying to assure the affects were minimal when it inevitably happened. And… the affects were minimal, BECAUSE they poured money into it, not in spite of it. Sheesh people, understand what you are talking about.
