    Never liked them but I respect them. Same with dead boys. I saw Buzzcocks live 2 years ago here in MI and met Mike’s son Julian who opened up. We smoked a joint and talked about music, pretty cool kid . To me His band Lovecrimes sounds much better than SD 👍🏻

    I met Mike at the Cheesecaake Factory while I was looking at the desset menu, and he was like, "Hey, let me see that dessert menu," and I was like, "No Mike from Social Distortion, Chelsea the hostess will bring you one," and he laughed and said, "Seriously," and I said, "Seriously? SERIOUSLY?! CHELSEA — THE HOSTESS — WILL SERIOUSLY BRING YOU ONE," and then some other stuff happened and I got arrested.

    I was 16 when Somewhere between heaven and hell came out, and…man…..this is THE soundtrack to our teenage years. I've seen them live 9 times. You know when you round that corner and see the bus with the Harleys, it's going to be a good night. And all y'all know what I'm talkin about. God bless Mike Ness, RIP Dennis, Social D forever. How lucky we have been.

    My opinion right haha but 2:27 that mike ness was no good i feel like mike ness was more advanced then most guitarist at that time when ness was younger like in them days like the song telling them nuts great guitar

    I'm 51 I remember renting Another state of Mind around 13-14. Got it for Minor Threat but fell in love with SD mommy's lil monster,. Still jam a few of their songs daily almost. Won a art scholarship off a Mike Ness oil pastel I did in h.s. but damn has it really been 40 yrs.

    Dude ( Mike ) bought me a drink on the worst day of my life. I'll never forget the conversation but I'm keeping that just for me. . I wish I had known who he was before he walked out.

    I knew Mike Ness was a California liberal…. but I didn’t really know how bad it had affected his brain ……UNTIL ! June 29th at the Capitol Theater in Davenport, Iowa .

    In 1982 I was in the 7th grade, I would always look forward to listening to Rodney on the Roq on Saturday and Sunday night. That's when I first heard Social Distortion 1945……loved it and love them!! Have to blast Ball and Chain when it comes on the radio still….
