King Diamond is the 1st metal musician who achieved the fact to receive money from the Danish Kingdom till he is not here anymore. Only 5 artists in Denmark receive the honor of being financially supported, even though he doesn't ever need to use 1 single Danish crown. 5 artists in Denmark receive the honor of being seen as such a innovative and skilled artist to even be nominated. At most, only 275 artists, from painters, to book authors, translators, sculptural artists and then the rhythmic based music & of course artistic composed music + the most skilled musicians in both genres.
The fact that a sworn satanist have been rewarded the highest recognition among the 275 artists who can possibly reach such a recognition by the highest and best artists in Denmark is incredible. Lars Ulrich from Metallica will never reach that level of respect!!!!
And I love both musicians. Have seen Metallica 6 times and King Diamond 5 and Mercyful Fate 3 times ❀

Just like every other band I've liked who does the same, I'm done buying tickets to shows after their "retirement" tours. Same bullshit over and over again.

Thanks for using my W.A.S.P. video!

The setlists of both KK’s Priest and W.A.S.P. were insanely good! Many deep cuts that KK, Ripper and W.A.S.P. themselves haven’t played in decades. Not to mention the quality of the concert which was incredibly budget-friendly.

I don't get why the Kerry King band hasn't really done much touring. Kerry complained about the pandemic, and then didn't really do any touring since that ended. I was hoping to catch is first shows as I figured there wouldn't be much people as most probably wouldn't know about it and so I'd be able to easily get up to the front of the stage. As I play guitar and I like watching how they play riffs to see if I've been playing them wrong.

I got to see Metallica play for free during the 2013 San Diego Comic Con. As Metallica had a panel for that movie they made, and then gave out a bunch of tickets with numbers on them, and certain ones were able to get two tickets each. And I was lucky and got two tickets, and as I left a bunch of people were begging for tickets and sold my extra ticket for $200. Though I ended up being way in the back of the venue as it was a seated thing. I was going to try to get down on the first level as I figured everyone would rush to the stage out of their seats at some point. But the security wouldn't let me. And then yes, everyone later eventually rushed to the stage to get a better view.

Metallica tickets are way too expensive. And I don't like being far away. I go to concerts several hours early so I can get to the front of the stage. With Acid Bath, for a fee, you get to skip the line and get in early. So I paid for that as I want to be at the stage. Also, I like leaning on the guard rails as it makes it easier when standing for many hours at a concert.

I don't know if you've mentioned Acid Bath going on tour. But I got tickets as I never got to see them as they broke up before I got their first record in the late 90's.

i love Slayer and eXodus but declined going to see them on their β€œfinal” tour.
seen them 7 or 8 times and somehow i only saw the original 4 guys every time.
( saw the god hates us tour right after paul had to leave and dave came back )
anyway, i figured king would want to do reunion shows forever cuz he and tom have little integrity.
DAVE AND JEFF created true Slayer.
Paul is badass and Gary Holt is a metal GOD but i’ll catch the 20th reunion tour when they’re playing my local bar with a drum machine and a guitar tech blowing kerry off the stage.

It sounds like we will get a merciful fate album before king diamond. I recently read that king diamond said in an interview that probably spring/summer of 2027 a new tour and album from fate. Then spring/summer 2028 a king diamond album/tour. I think it was blabbermouth that had article.

9:21 I like the second half of the song, the only good thing about the beginning is the drum parts. Eloy is incredible.
I used to be a huge Slipknot fan, but then they released The End So Far. It’s quite useless. After firing more than half the band the magic is not there anymore. The real signs of disrepair was when they fired Joey via email. We Are Not Your Kind was excellent. But it’s been downhill from then. Eloy deserves to play in a huge band, at the moment Slipknot is wasting his potential. Maybe they’re getting too old πŸ€”

6:55 I was never a huge Kiss fan, I fell in love Metallica, Ozzy, Iron Maiden and Saxon as a kid. AC-DC is also a band I got hooked on the second I heard TNT. Kiss will most likely never stop making music, it’s in their DNA. It was in the DNA of Lemmy, Ozzy, and Ronnie J Dio.

Slipknot dropping this song immediately after what happened was not a complete surprise… I mentioned this about a month ago to a buddy of mine when the rumors began. I told him watch what happens here next, all this bs is generating buzz and Slipknot is going to use it to release a new single, and right on cue, that's exactly what happened. It sounds okay, but maybe I was expecting something else, something amazing. Just seems like it's kind of drifting off into something else.

"Mr. Cool" was on an EP I have by the Killer Kane Band from 1976. They were a short lived band bassist Arthur Kane formed after the New York Dolls that had Blackie as a member. Good version.

The KISS & SLAYER fan clips πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ yeah I can't wait either. SK is awesome too but the backlash was because the band turned into reptilians πŸ˜‚ no shit Sherlock. The maggots couldn't believe COREY CLOWN ROOT & THOMPSON are "NOT HUMAN" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Sick of all these old dinosaur bands. Not enough focus on new bands because everyone is going for views and established brand names. Keep making videos about 30 year old bands though. I'm sure you'll get lots of views.

I listened to the new Slipknot tune "Arsenal" and didn't mind it; it seemed better than most on the last album. I also checked out some new Gloryhanmmer, Stoned Jesus,The Skinner Brothers, and Europe. All pretty decent.

Well I'm going to see wasp and KK's priest 27th of this month in Maine. I can't fucking wait. I never got to see him in the day… I don't think wasp ever came this far and I could have went to see iron maiden but way too fucking much money. Can't do it

Blackie wants the live sound to sound just like the record! He told Eddie Trunk a few years back. So lots of backing tracks? I still like WASP but will skip the β€œlive” show! Ha!

As a single parent, life looks better now, $85k biweekly, retired at 48, nice clothes, good food, a beautiful home, a good son full of love, went from grass to grace. I used to pray for times like this. Listening to your videos brought clarity and inspiration. Thanks for the insight.πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

Maybe not that interesting… But did hear through a common friend that boss of Finnvox studio did die a few days ago.
Besides mixing Lovebites, he had a hand on Stratovarius, Nightwish, Cradle of filth etc.
Hopefully he managed to finish the girls "Live at Budokan". The 'bites does make live-DVDs and CDs frequently, so I'm sure there will be one from their career highlight. Budokan is Budokan πŸ˜‡
