Texas may not be an easy state for Democrats, but this race just became much more interesting.
With Ken Paxton now the Republican nominee, Democrats have a clearer contrast to run against — corruption, affordability, and Senate control.
If Democrats are already looking at North Carolina, Maine, and Alaska, Texas could become the next major opportunity.

Paxton will have concepts of a plan just like Donald Trump. Give him two weeks. Talarico will flip Texas blue. Vote democratic.🇺🇸

Beyond embarrassing that a man, yes Paxton, who willingly let a pedophile who had SA'd a young boy; Paxton allowed this man to escape accountability (this pedo served no time in jail) but Paxton allowed this man to go back to his community without WARNING because he didn't have to file as a sexual predator.
THAT alone should have any normal person vote Talarico on the basis of Paxton's actions alone. Who TF, allows pedos not serve their time, and not having to ALERT the public of the predatory behavior!? Not to mention the injustice for that little boy as a victim, but continuing to leave more young children vulnerable…. WAKE UP AMERICANS. Stop putting pedo supporters in positions of power, thus, to govern good peoples lives!

Paxton's accomplishments align with Trump.
1. Getting a PDF-file, Adam Hoffman a "sweetheart deal" for r*ping a 10-year-old little boy for over a year. A couple of months in jail and no s*x offender registration,
2. His wife filed for divorce under "biblical grounds",
3. Targeted Hispanic communities, raided LULAC, and STRONGLY supports ICE in EVERYTHING they do,
4. Turned over voter information to the DOJ,
5. Gave parents who ab*se their kids free reign over their kids' medical records,
6. Accusations on bribery, ab*se of office, and other crimes,
7. Gave state funds to a private donor,
8. Retaliated against whistleblowers,
9. Obstruction, and
10. False statements.

It's important to note that the polls showed Paxton ahead by about an average of 8 percentage points over Cornyn. Paxton won by 36 points! This shows once again how wrong polls are. As much as I would love to see the Democrats take over the Senate and win this TX race, I have very little confidence that Talarico is in a strong position at +4 percent. But keep hope alive!!

The only policies you’ll get from Paxton are him carefully echoing whatever Trump says, including on the Iran War, hoping that will secure his election. He has no independent thought beyond that, despite these so-called Texas macho guys claiming to value individualism.

It looks like more Republican voters turned out for the Run-Off election than did for the Republican Primary in March? That tells me they are very motivated to turn out in November. We have to hope that many of Cornyn voters won't vote for Paxton and that it dampens their turnout. Cornyn will be "supporting" Paxton, because he wants a lucrative lobbying job from one of his mega donors, so he's not going rogue now.

Paxton was re-elected to TX AG despite all the scandals. Tribalism/racism is too strongly inculcated here. It's their culture.
