My butt doesn't know, it sends a message to my brain and the brain send a little plumber down to my butt to check if it is a gas or a tsunami, then the plumber runs back to the brain with the info and the Brain says block or let go. that's how it do.

It's a little late, but for what it is worth, judge this based on gas emissions. Yes, a log rolling through will push gas. You get gas always, but the clear sign is gas that is growing short on patience. Not sure how to sugar coat this. But if your gas gets stronger with no room to blow, a log is surely close behind. Light slow gas means you have time. Maybe. Lol

Goddammit Ze Frank I wish you were still doing your show. You’re missed. Dare I said it you’re needed. Your human humorous way of putting words to life was desperately missed last year, I suspect it will be just as missed this year. Hope you’re doing well and are happy and healthy even if not in the public eye.

Ah yes. This reminds me why I hate most psychologists and psychiatrists. They almost always have some kind of idiotic hobby-horse they just can't stop riding. Freudians are the WORST, they always have to interpret everything as sexual no matter how absurdly inappropriate that might be. Yeah, sure, twitching your legs COULD be auto-erotic if you're squeezing hard enough, but it could also just be restless legs that need to be eased through a bit of movement. There might be NOTHING autoerotic about it. And I know this is true because I get the restless-leg thing myself and I sure am not getting off on it, not even remotely. Any psychiatrist who can't tell the difference between that and masturbation needs to have his OWN head examined. Heck, most of them got into psychiatry just to try to fathom how messed up they are, themselves.

Haha! For self-soothing, I rock back and forth, hug pillows, pet soft stuffed animals or blankets or myself… I have stims that aren't great that I struggle with like messing with my cuticles/creating hangnails, biting cheeks, hair pulling, etc…

Feelings are created by thoughts. But sometimes lots of thoughts happen in the background & go unnoticed. Feelings are like a barometer to let us know when our thinking is headed in the wrong direction. I highly recommend you read: You can be happy no matter what – by Richard Carlson. It sounds like a generic self help book but it's really full deep psychological principles. He identifies many common emotional pitfalls & how to avoid them. Literally everyone should read this book.

You DO know that some 76% of mental health professionals go into the field to address their own illness and/or personal trauma? Whoever told you shaking your legs is 'that' is a full on fuckwaz. I can not believe you actually give that credence and credibility. You don't? Right?

I've recently discovered that the comfy wriggling I do before I go to sleep is actually obsessive body rocking; Y'know. The rocking back and forth or banging your head thing is it's equivalent. A couple of partners have commented on it and it's a little embarrassing.
