I cite my sources and they may differ than other people’s accounts, so I don’t guarantee the actual accuracy of my videos.

In 1989 Skid Row was on tour opening for Aerosmith following the release of their self-titled debut record. at a December 27 show in Springfield Massachusetts MTV aired footage of Bach being struck by a bottle thrown from the audience Bach obviously agitated picked up the bottle throwing it back into the audience and jumped into the crowd and fought a fan who he thought had thrwn the bottle. The performance was shot by a fan in attendance who would send his bootleg clip to MTV while remaining anonymous here’s a clip of the incident [Applause]

the bottle that Bach would throw into the audience would strike a 17 year old girl in the face and when Bach lept into the audience he apparently landed on the same girl and kicked another fan in the chin before being dragged back onstage by his roadies Bach would be arrested following the show and charged with two counts of assault and battery two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of mayhem and he was freed on $10,000 bail with a trial date set for May 15th. the injured girl was treated for severe facial cuts and bruises according to the LA Times.
Shortly after the incident Bach was asked if he apologised to the girl but the band’s manager Doc McGhee was quoted as saying “sebastien hasn’t talked with her yet but he feels very badly and wants to see that she’s taken care of he’d like to meet her and make sure she’s alright. It was following Bach’s court appearance in Springfield, MTV sent a reporter to interview fans who waited outside of the courthouse to give their opinions on the matter
in 1991 Bach would sit down with MTV’s Kurt Loder to talk about the incident and here’s what he had to say about it
Nearly ten years after the incident happened Bach would speak with the Hartford Courant newspaper and revealed that the incident still haunts him saying it won’t go away they just played it again on MTV last weekend in some sort of retrospective ten years later they’re still firing it up unbelievable I just want to say I’m very very sorry for what happened it was a stupid thing to do it was a horrible incident Bach would say and according to Bach he paid dearly for the momentary act of Rage saying there was a large cash settlement half a million dollar range adding it basically wiped me out. A few weeks after the incident took place Skid Row, Bach and Aerosmith would come through Springfield once again with Bach revealing he was nervous returning to the city adding “

“I came out for my first tune wearing a steel welding mask. I was really nervous. They actually had X-ray metal detector systems for that show — they don’t bring those out too much. And as I was waiting to go out on stage, you know how in the bowels of these arenas there’s all this stuff lying around. I saw this welding mask there as I was going on, I said, man, give me that. So for the whole first song, I sang with that on. It got a little hot, though, and I took it off.”
That show would go off without incident.

Ever since I saw him bullying and humiliating a fan over a hug, I'd say the band is much better off without him.
Bach is such a colossal jerk!

The band should not have to endure more drama with him for the fans.

Never thought skid row was that good. By the time they made it in 1989, the hair metal thing was nearing its in. So their popularity was short lived.

Those people outside the court house are stupid! Doesnt matter who you are, you dont throw a glass bottle back into a crowd of people regardless if you know who it was that threw it at you, and you dont jump off stage into that crowd of people. Either one even can EASILY injury bi-standards

The band should have paid the man his worth. They wouldn't cut him into the big money. He's out and No one cared. Back to the local clubs for the band. The only reason they were so big was because of Bas! In my opinion.

Humans should be called Hypocrits instead of Humans.
I bet you every one of those people who trashed him have said or done something that someone else could find offensive.
And most of the time it's the media who are up front causing outrage and trying to get people cancelled
    Because it sells.
Yet they are the worst ever.

As much as Bach is one of the best voices ever to hit the metal scene, I can absolutely understand why Skid Row won't have him back. It's too bad because, especially if he has done the work to grow and mature, it is really the reunion we all want.

I heard that Patrick Swayze challenged him to a fight but he backed down. Bach (while doing a dramatic turn/hair flip) stated:
"I already told everyone, I had the fucking flu. I didn't back down from shit!" 😂😂😂
