I know a lot of people who can talk with the person who dumped them, but even after 30 years I can't get back not raising my own kids instead of every other week. My Ex and I see each other regularly and for the sake of the family we talk, even discuss politics, thirty years later when I look at her I'm looking at her mother, but the hurt is still buried in heart, I know Sarah feels it still.
