I love her playing off Jost, it’s so great. Definitely a buddy cop movie in the making there 😂

What's ironic about her take is that Lorne believes that any cast member that can do very well in the update character space has what it takes to become a breakout mainstream star.

Any time Sarah puts a wig on for a sketch I go "holy smokes"

Sarah Sherman is a unique talent, she's in her own category almost, which is a great blessing, but it also means that she bears a lot of responsibility for coming up with her own material to fit her unique comedic style. She's really smart, funny, and self-aware, though, so I have every confidence that she'll figure out how to write longer-form material for herself, and I look forward to seeing it.

Not to compare, but…Sarah really is the new Kristen Wiig on Weekend Update. She absolutely smashes those bits to bits.

Sarah, Chloe, Ashley, all stand outs on the show at present… There've been some REALLY solid episodes already this season.

Can I just say that Sarah Sherman is one of the best SNL cast members in recent years? Thank you Lorne Michaels for hiring her, and letting her roast Colin Jost on all those great Weekend Update skits. ❤

Did you see her “comedy” special? Perhaps the worst thing I’ve seen this year.

I've been impressed with how well Sarah blends into character in normal sketches playing supporting roles where she is not the center of attention. She has such a big personality, I didn't expect her to be able to do that. Of the new cast, Veronika Slowikowska is also a standout.

I dig her ambition! I think she sees it as a challenge she's trying to figure out. Hope she's able to channel her unique style/energy onto more sketches.

Actually I think Sarah has really stepped up and blossomed. She has become great in all the sketches not just the super goofy ones. Her character work is great.

sarah is so fuggin funny. snl is hit or miss like all sketch comedy but the haters are all conservative snowflakes. snl is still going strong after 50 years

Pete was known for mostly update and he was a fan favorite. She shouldn’t be worried.

I feel like Sarah just would be doing all those bits in her house alone if SNL didn't find her.

I feel like Sarah became a star the instant she did the Peppa Pig meltdown. Every Update appearance since has been completely unhinged in the best possible way.

The "SNL sucks" moaning has been around forever and it's so dumb and boring. I love SNL even episodes or seasons when it's not great.

Neal, no offense…but your sweaty, oily face with your temple veins reaching out at us is disturbing. It has the potential to stop me from clicking on your videos.
You had your fun. We're uncomfortable. Time for change.

I hate clicking on these vids because of the bumper. having said that, I adore Sarah so much, I had to. She overwhelms the cringe.

Can the producer/engineer please do a high pass filter on the mics and put it around 100Hz? Thanks.
