This must KILL Jimmy Page, if RUSH could come back after their Neil passed, one of the best drummers EVER after Bonham how/why couldn't they do the same. Zep should at the very least did one ore two shows in America after the O2, if not America they would have been nothing, no respect for the country that gave them everything!!!

As someone who grew up in Toronto 70/80s, there were more than a few homies thinking they sold out with the Signals album. This was the beginning of the MTV gen…but everyone STFU when they toured and played Maple Leaf Gardens two months later jamming our Subdivisions 😉

One of the things I also really like about this tour is the fact that Alex doesn't use the same super-saturated Metal guitar sound on every single song but sounds that are closer to the studio recordings! 😍👍

Geddy said that there will be 20-ish songs per show and that they are fully rehearsed for 40+ songs. They realize that some of their fans might see more than 1 show so they are making sure there is a good variety. Peace from Toronto

Thought I was going to sit this one out (and not cause of Anika, I was on board with her from day one)…. NOPE! Just picked up a ticket for Saturday night. Payed face value ($371, hell, I paid 400 for a vip Porcupine Tree ticket a few years back… also worth every penny as I am a HUGE SW fan). I saw every Rush tour from Permanent Waves through Counter Parts in L.A. Then moved to Denmark, and caught Rush 40 in Hamburg.

I was going back and forth between floor seats, literally dead center in front of the sound board. Has its advantages for obvious reasons. But I decided on 126 lodge (Anika and Alex's side, and 3 and about lines up about dead center of the first section of floor seats) because I am honestly most interested at staring at her all night, and I hate potentially having looking over people.

Anyway… still some decent seats to be had without paying resale prices… I was also thinking about just driving down Saturday and hoping prices would drop just before the show, but the fact that the set list is being so varied, didn't want to risk missing out due to fans going back for seconds 😅

Myself, I've heard people dislike 'Signals' because Geddy sings in a lower range for its majority; Which I reckon comes in handy now on this tour, and his vocals sound best in the songs from that album, in my opinion.
'Digital Man' and 'New World Man' do have The Police influence. The rest of the album: Not so much 🙂
And the "P👂t" pronunciation is indeed correct! 😀👍
    It's "Y Y Zed", though! 😉

I was there in person and it was great. Aimeee Man joined again. I was very pleased with the setlist. Its great to see them changing up songs in a way modern Rush previously never did. I will see them again in October and who knows what to expect. That's exciting. Everyone performed well, but most surprising was Geddys voice. Better than I have heard in 20+ years. Its not 70s Rush but way better than the last 3 tours.
