Having listened to some tracks, it's not for me. Just sounds like a wewry man who seems to have taken a very lovable childhood Teddy bear, pulled it to bits and rearranged the face and limbs like a jarring Picasso.

No matter what Roger was intending, the end result is boring lifeless drivel.

Miles Davis would be smiling how so many people seem to want to own DSOTM as if it were their own. Roger Waters wants to make record. Good. You don't have to like it. I will be seeing and hearing this at the Palladium in London in October. It's called art not a fossilised karaoke gig.

I absolutely love it and can’t wait to hear the whole album👍

Money and especially Time are beautiful, I think this will be the album of 2023. He certainly isn't trying to replace the original, it's reflecting, and TBH, I dont need another remix of DSOTM from PF.

I found the new version of Money frustrating, but this version of Time really caught me. As Waters says it doesn't replace the original, but it does bring a new light to it and lets the poetry of the song shine.

You forgot to talk about the female vocals on solo:her name is Azniv Korkejian and it was beautiful✌🎶

I really don't care for Water's re-make. I much prefer the original. But, with that said, let me say that I completely love the song "Lost Boys Calling", a deep cut from the soundtrack of the movie. The Legend Of 1900 A great song!.

He's cancelled David Gilmour, visually on his tour, and aurally on this album.

Is that good? Suggest you don't hint you can try to redesign Roger Waters, Daivi Gilmour, and Nick Mason conceptual artwork and any lunatic comments about living legend authors working on their own update of their eternal art work.

Thank you for being so objective about this. I'm a massive RW fan but for the first time, was dissapointed with Money and, initially this recording. However, after a couple of listens I'm beginning to get it and warm to it. Loving the way that he's indicating it's there all along. Could that be our understanding in later life of human nature? By heck, he's clever

Syd Barret burnt out and for a good few years Pink Floyd struggled on, searching for some way forward, a route out of the underground circuit. Fortunately Waters found his musical voice and a vision for the future. He did write the majority of the songs and the big strategic concepts were his, the big ideas. I think one can argue that he salvaged Pink Floyd. I think that objectively, he wasn't merely 25% of the band, but, 75%. The other three made massive contributions and Gilmour's singing and wonderful guitar playing created the sound of Pink Floyd live, but without the songs and lyrics, without Waters big ideas, it wouldn't have worked.

Just listened; fantastic. Hearing Roger sing those words now at this point in his life adds so much to the listening experience.
The original verse- bridge- verse leads were sung by Gilmour- Wright- Gilmour. To hear Roger sing that final reflective verse was very moving.

This new version never would have sold. I think it’s to slow and sounds to much like his solo stuff. He destroyed Comfortably Numb to open his recent tour. He’s becoming a grumpy bitter old man . Yet I’ve seen him five times

It is boring, languishes eternally. And he cannot keep his ego in check and had to add spoken words at the beginning preaching his world views as if he was a messiah, and the worst offensive part is the absolute omission of the fantastic guitar solo by Gilmour. In his mind he's paying revenge to David in this very pitiful way. Cannot wait not to buy this album. Sorry for the negativity, I'm as bitter as Roger.

Thanks for another v enjoyable video, some lovely turns of phrase in there! I was put off by Roger's initial statement, but I'm liking the 2 songs released so far, once I'd got used to the simpler arrangements.

Well I have to say I like this, although the reprise section almost sounds like Rogers just wanted to get the thing done with, much better than his version of Money then that was hardly going to be difficult. Yeah ok it’s a good one.
I think I am going to struggle to listen to a whole album of this type of dry vocals properly need a glass of water before I take my overdose!!!!!

Sorry but it seems like just another cash-grab by Waters….something he seems to have been obsessed with since the beginning of his career when, in the '60s, he said his goal was to be a rich pop star. I appreciate Waters' contributions and still enjoy his music both in and out of Pink Floyd (and see him live whenever he's around), but that doesn't mean I rubber-stamp everything he does. Greed and spite do not a good (reimagined) album make.
