Lachryma is the best rock song of the year. Its almost sounds like a pop song even though Ghost is considered a metal band. Why was it not nominated for best song ?

I found out the band has to nominate themselves to be picked for nominations. I didn't know this & think it is stupid. If the band didn't submit to be nominated they won't be.

I cannot believe Yungblud is nominated for anything. I don’t think he deserves to be nominated for singing someone else’s song. Ozzy should get the Grammy. Just my opinion.

Can someone please tell me how Shinedown is never up for nomination or never won a Grammy when they have more #1 songs on mainstream rock charts than any other band make it make sense!!!!! Shinedown has had 3 #1 songs in 2025 HELLO!!!!

I'm a huge fan of The Warning. Since they are from Mexico I guess they would fit better in the Latin Grammys, although most of their songs are in English. I just want them to be even more successful than they already are.

Bands and their management teams have to submit which songs or albums they want nominated for the Grammys. I think the deadline for the upcoming year was in August of this year. So, its not rigged or anything like that. Some bands simply dont want to compete for awards. They just want to make music for the sake of making music. While others might see a Grammy as an accomplishment.

Oh hun, I could not agree more with you who got the snub. Ronnie/FIR most definitely snubbed. They should've gotten sum kinda recognition. I love Sleep Token too, they deserve sumthin. But FIR, it's definite they should have been recognized

I think that there could be a racial element to this. Hard rock and metal are widely perceived to be the purview of white music listeners and if you look at the direction of popular culture during at least the last twenty years, the people who control and direct the culture seem intent on hurting white people as much as they can. So white people are gradually being excluded from participation in a variety of domains.
