RIP good sir. As much as 'Spinal Tap', 'Princess Bride' & 'Harry Met Sally' made me laugh, & as much as 'Misery' scared the bejeezus out of me, I hope you're forever remembered as one of the great Hollywood film-makers & rest now with all the Tap drummers. xxx

I wish they would have aimed his baseball cap up.So the brim would not cover his face.So we could see his eyes when he's talking, because it is so dark here a blackout against a black background.And that's the one thing they really need to fix , and i'm so sorry they did not.

This is a phenomenal interview because it reveals some things he had never talked about before.Along with all the regular stories you know, so it was great to have good information.And this was current , this was right up until the end. And it's so incredibly painful and brings you to tears to realize that he's gone and way too young and age. How many more things was he going to create that we're going to be extraordinary?And the best in the best list of films or other things. And his energy in enthusiasm , and he looked great and really , I think the best interview i've seen with him , and i've been watching a lot of them on youtube. It's just like two people sitting and talking and carrying on conversation and going forwards and backwards in the story. I'nM so glad it just popped up for me on youtube. But i'm probably the only person who has never seen the spinal tap movie from beginning to end and I see the clip of the dial that goes to eleven and I think it's the stupidest most boring thing I have ever seen in my life and every time I try to watch the movie , I can't even get past the first minute , because to me it isn't funny and it's so boring and it doesn't catch you and bring you in and I hate it and I will never watch it. Now , I love american president and stand by me and misery , and so many of his films and of course when harry met sally. So I love all of those. But I just cannot get into that spinal tap even though I really want to. Along with the book , they should release the c d of music by the band. ReelznLy good music.

What a legend , I grew up watching All in the Family, when my baby brother was born in 77 he was named after Michael ( meathead ) . He was a great director, did 8 Stephen King movies of whom I have been collecting his books for 38 years . There hasn't been a day since December 15th when my daughter texted me from Nevada and told me the tragic news about Rob and his wife , I cried like I knew him personally. You were such a legend Rob and you are missed by millions like me . What a great and truthful interview this was about how people watched their favorite shows and talked about it with coworkers the next day . That was my life until TV changed , so did the internet. It seems like people have no social skills like they used too . I live in the foothills of the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee but it's getting like that everywhere . RIP Rob and Michelle Reiner ❤😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

Watching this for the first time after knowing that he is no longer with us. Such a loss. My condolences to his family, friends and fans. I also feel sorry for his son and the issues he has dealt with. Life is hard. You never know what someone is going through.

Spinal Tap is LAME. Poor Rob ,he tries to talk his products into success like a used car salesman. Not a cult classic and not the best line in a film. He if full of hot gas. They stink. WASTE!

I know both of these men detest(ed) me and my ilk, but I'm saddened by the loss of Rob and his wife. What a devastating tragedy for his loved ones and those of us (even those he abhored) who loved his work. God Bless his family and friends.

I recently watched This Is Your Life for Carl Reiner. During the show Carl's wife & 2 kids, including a 13 year old Rob, came out on stage. You could tell how much Rob loved & admired his Dad just from the look on his face.

The first time I saw Spinal Tap was in 88'. I was in a road band it was probably around 3 PM in my hotel room had just gotten up and on the TV was This Is Spinal Tap. Most hilarious, genius mockcumentary I had ever seen. There's an old saying that the really good musicians in the world would usually be referred to as a musicians musician. Other words somebody's playing that was so phenomenal that it could not be appreciated by a non-musician. I always considered Spinal Tap to be a musicians musician movie.

Remember listening to this pod cast episode back in September and being touched by how humble and down to earth Rob Reiner was, it was such a treasurer to have listen to this interview Ted Danson thankyou for this again its such a shame that someone so amazing and iconic who made one of my fav movies of all time spinal tap and loved seeing spinal tap II i cant believe he gone and how something so evil could happen to him and his wife heartbreaking 💔 R.I.P
