Poor kid didn’t get the memo that Britain and the larger UK gave up being an empire generations ago. Someone, get the kid a history textbook! America isn’t an empire either, if that were the case, we’d have a monarchy, not a democratic, republic ruled presidency. Another thing, EVERYONE did slavery, stole, and killed at one point. Every country in history did that. If you point at America and make that accusation, point at the whole world. We’re all guilty of bad and good.

Americans, young or old, would live, fight, die, fight, and die again, for their country. Because the flag isn’t our government, or the country. It’s the people. Your neighbors, friends, family, men, uncles, dads, and grandparents, that made that same sacrifice before you, or are contributing in some other way. America also doesn’t just fight for her own freedom, but everyone’s. Even would-be enemies like Russia or North Korea.

Illegals and ignorant activists need to learn, and be firmly reminded: Living in America, or other safe and free countries, is a PRIVILEGE. Not a given. You EARN that right. You know what European immigrants generations ago did? They came in the legal way, after signing many papers, paying to get the proper documents, and a long and perilous journey to New York’s Ellis island, from their homeland. Which, May I remind you, they had to uproot everything to start a new life in America. Everything. You can contribute and be a red blood cell, or leech off a healthy body like an infection or parasite. Either way, you WILL be expelled and permanently exiled. Freedom doesn’t come free. Our founding fathers and forefathers knew that, past immigrants that came here the right way knew that, we who were born here or earned our way here know that. It’s not easy, nothing worth doing ever is.
