Very enjoyable. I enjoyed all the music of this period and I'm sure the band's were friendly with each other. Why not. They're all musician's, not 'sport''s men in compertition with each other….. Look how they moved from one bad to another or steped in and helped out, like David did for Richie.

Great interview, very insightful, love all the old stories from the 60's California scene. He seems a very genuine person, nothing pretentious about him..

love buffalo springfield and while Buffalo Springfield Again is their masterpiece i also think Last Time Around is pretty excellent, especially for an album that was somewhat cobbled together as the band was disintegrating.

Out of all of the box sets I own the Buffalo Springfield 4 disc one is my absolute favourite (next to King Crimson 'Great Deceiver' live 1973-1974). I can't think of another set where every track is truly great and I never think about skipping a song once. To say this music was cutting edge for its time is way understated. They accomplished more in less than 3 years than most bands spend a lifetime achieving and continue to influence to this day. So glad Richie got the 2010/2011 reunion with Stephen & Neil – it was fun to watch! Thanks for this great interview!

Furay made some great music and still has an amazing voice but he regularly pushes dangerous and hateful right wing conspiracies on his FB page while he proselytizes and quotes bible passages.

A highly interesting and absorbing interview. That whole incestuous Laurel Canyon scene populated by its now sadly disappearing legends, I find endlessly fascinating. Listening to Richie was a real treat. Thank you.

Great interview. It’s good to listen to an upbeat guy who seems genuinely happy about his good fortune while not wanting to dwell on anything negative.

Apparently Don Henley was the “a” hole of the Eagles. A lot of bands that achieve some level of fame have at least one.
In turn, that “attitude” becomes potentially toxic with the other group members.
