I remember when Siskel & Ebert was a tv show, when they reviewed this movie they both gave it a THumbs Down., but it was Gene SIskel who said this movie should have been called "My Fair Taxi Cab Driver."

That electric horse is a play on The Electric Horseman. Anyone who went to see this knew that because Jane Fonda was in The Electric Horseman and she was in 9 to 5 with Dolly.

Legit watched with grandma and loved it buuuut I was a comedy central MST3K 90s kid so bad movies and bad taste was great, I didn't know anyone who like the baffoonery of actors without much to go on work their way bad dialog
the fact they made these competent big for the time stars and money its kinda sad that we went from these risky Cocaine fueled days to billionaires scared release a movie without market testing and reshoots
They were doing their best, so were the columbian coca farmers
