I feel after looking at the photo a bunch of times, What really stands out would be its thighs. Those thighs that are on the creature, don’t disconnect until much further down. So, My guess is that it could be an American Black Bear standing up or something else.

Hey guys, when doing a photo size recreation, the distance must be very close. And bubba is standing in front of a large tree, where the creature was 10's of feet back behind twins skinny trees🌲🌲, your distance wasn't even close to the object that you were comparing.

I've lived in the UP my entire life. I've hunted my entire adult life. All we have are deer & black bears. Maybe a wayward Moose. I've never seen, nor heard, of any large monkeys roaming around. It's a bunch of nonsense. Also, Animal Planet, I thought you were a legit science channel. When did you become the "Monster Energy Drink Frat Bro Friend" of the Discovery Channel?
