Reese Waters Primary Election Night: DSA Edition

Reese Waters | August 5, 2026

Tonight on Reese Waters Runs Deep, five states hold primaries Tuesday, with competitive House and Senate races that could ultimately decide control of Congress next year.

Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Virginia and Washington are all holding contests. The headline: epidemiologist Abdul El-Sayed vs Rep. Haley Stevens in Michigan.

Who’s winning at the ballot box, and who’s winning on the draft board? We’re breaking down the upsets, the locks, and what it all means for the culture.

I’m now at the point where I’m like you know what Maga why don’t you just go ahead and face the American people now and tell them what you want and what you disagree with and all else as you’ve already messed up so many lives out there it’s unreal, but you just wanna take it out on all of us

I worked at the Y on 9th Ave and 34th Street and New York Bell Telephone as an operator and I tested the phone lines for the 2nd Tower and made them working! Memories of NYC in the early 70s! πŸ™ŒπŸΎπŸ˜‡πŸ’―

The DSA is a joke. Let me break it down. DSA wants to defund the police. The DSA wants to Defund the Department of War. So, if they take power and implement a law poeple disagree with, who's going to stop anybody that says no. They're not going to lock anyone up in a prison, because they want to eliminate prisons too. They won't have police. They won't have a military. What's their answer to that? We'll send an unarmed social worker to write a report. Unless they say the real part out loud. They're not ready to say the real part out loud. Because they're subversive.

Born in 1961. I enjoyed being in Headstart when it was a pilot program, partied to P-funk in high school, went to U of M in β€˜79 and became too political and been depressed about this country ever since! There was little technology and even dumb people were competent at their jobs. We did we what we had to survive and nobody was making a song about it; it was all about love. Y’all youngsters missed out!!! πŸ’œβœŒπŸ½βœ¨

Reece, check your generation stats. I was a latch key kid, and graduated high school between Doggystyle, and Cocktales.

You had to listen to all that before anybody got home from work.πŸ˜‚

God is good, they call it retributive justice, these rednecks can thank Trump. This is America, Kamala Harris is the strongest candidate, and β€œshe” will be allowed to defend herself. Biden ran four times before, and Trump has run three times.
