Join us for #REDHOOPTALK when we visit with KANSAS BEGAYE who is a citizen of the Navajo Nation or Diné originally from Waterflow, New Mexico. She is a recording artist and inspirational speaker, and is a Native American Music Award winner with four albums sold internationally. She has also traveled worldwide singing in different countries like Japan and Russia.
Kansas was the 2013-2014 Miss Indian World and was the first full Navajo to represent the title. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico in 2011.
