The xbox controllers wont work after a certain period, your best bet is a wired controller if going for a cheaper alternate as xbox has cracked down with people using usbs to cheat in games.

A good product of a competitor will always be better than a fake one of a premium company, even tho there where good "fake" products if you search for other companies that do the same product you may find something cheaper and a lot of the times better
