Being a girl and a gamer FUCKING SUCKS! I’m in the same group as the people who made me name 10 guns to prove I like games and for what!? I just want to play I don’t give a shit about my gender and I’m aroace, yknow what the worst part is? They were COD nerds and they were the closest thing I got as a kid to people knowing what I was talking about because I started off as and undertale geek, but my school was kinda small so I’m not generalising when I say all the other people only cared about football, Harry Potter, and horses, I also hate the term gamer girl

You just made me feel really bad for loving Stanley Kubrick, damn, that was rough. I checked out 2001 from the library when I was like eleven and it totally changed the way I saw movies. It was the moment I realized a movie was actual art and I love all of his movies, I think they're highly competent. Also, a lot of that stuff about Kubrick being awful is blown way out of proportion, and it's not like he ever endangered an actor's life like Tarantino, or killed people like John Landis. David Fincher has the same method of making movies, it is a proven way to do it when you know what you're doing.

As someone who is in multiple of these categories, including Star Wars, I must agree: we are the worst fandom. I love Star Wars but we are the worst. It is the most toxic fandom by far. I am huge into comics. I am huge into tabletop gaming. I dabble in the film nerd-im but holy cow! Star Wars is the worst fandom, easily the most toxic! At least the film nerd fandom has had a resurgence of people just admitting, yeah, like action movies and stuff like that.
