On regret in psychopaths being selfish, there's a great line in the Nick Cave song "The Curse of Millhaven":
"They ask me if I feel remorse, and I answer, 'why, of course. There's so much more I could've done if they'd let me.'"

Blue Velvet made me nauseous watching it. I remember how agitated Sisley & Ebert got reviewing it. Did it have redeeming qualities?

American Psycho is not a bad movie, but compared to the book, Bateman is a pale copy.
The book is absolutely brutal and I get why they couldn't film certain scenes, but that raises the question "Why do it at all?".

If you’re interested in sociopathy, highly recommend the book Sociopath by Dr Patric Gagne. She’s a sociopath and her book talks about growing up and learning to cope with her difference. It’s very humanizing.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if Clark Kent wasn’t a reporter but a psychologist?

Psychopath is not a scientific term anymore. You can say that they have psychotic traits but not that they’re psychopaths

Can we say that he dress like a killer?. Can we really analyze emotions through fake emotions? Can an actor create a real emotion of a physical problem without live it? There are not real cases that can be analyzed?

1 in 100 people may qualify as psychopaths but only 1 in 100 psychopaths are dangerous. They are more likely to become chefs, second hand car dealers, bank managers, surgeons, or even police officers. Any role where they can exercise a degree of power or control over the lives of others. They are the people who park their BMW in front of your drive or borrow your pen and don't return it.
