Stonewall riots happened 56 years ago! and some cities start celebrating pride on May sin on May 17 is the International Day against homophobia 😀 (APA despatologizng homosexuality) and April some countries had their versions of Stonewall riots 😀 like Costa Rica, lovooy the both of you to pieces, you guys always make me laugh!

Atlanta does Pride Weekend in October to coincide with National Coming Out Day, and then we also have Black Pride in August. Both are huge parties. But we also celebrate Pride Month in June—at the very least with sales and discounts at local businesses and flags come out. 🤷♂️

So can't speak for other cities, but for austin they have in August. Austin isn't big enough to compete with San Antonio, Dallas, or Houston. Plus Austin heavily relies on college student volunteers, so having it in August helps it be a large and successful event!
