These guys were amazing live, Charlie Simpson has been in the business longer than most and put the whole album out by himself Dave Grohl style. Only better no help from label or producer. He is a goat and truly genuine.🎉 ❤

I feel like we're in a long-spanned era of band's figuring out the most commercial but most intense version of "avantgarde" metal. Slipknot kicked it off with the masks, they wee he Avant Garde at the time for metal. Then you had tons of Copycats, many successful , and many that I like.
President is to Sleep Token the way that Mushroomhead is to Slipknot, except I WHOLEHEARTEDLY believe they're doing it way better.

I made the joke on their first video, "Who are you influenced by? Sleep Token?" Nothing really to it. I've probably listened to President more in the last few months than I have Sleep Token. Good bands, similar sound but very different if you actually listen to what is going on to the songs. Also, President has their singer…can't remember what band he was from but an established band. That's how they got spots on shows. Not a plant, just a known talent.

Calling this band an industry plant shows how much you ACTUALLY don't know. From Fightstar, busted and being moderately famous in the UK, Charlie Simpson is no plant lol hes been at it for years already. He was the Rhino season 3 on the masked singer too in the UK.

Is that all you got….? It is the music that matters. But it´s not that odd people compare. Massive hype from day one. Lyrics are floating around the same wordplay. Vocal effects to blur audiotechnical comparisons like, vocal run choices…vibrato!!?? Similar song structures with use of Poppy verses, hard rock chorusses and hip-hop blast beat interludes?! – no, mr. President. There are far more to go on. Should it matter though…..or is somebody pushing you into a corner. Easy….give them just one tour date, where each band is booked and playing different venues.
When it comes to prooving a point, this would also be a valid point to adress towards a label or any decision maker in the industry, that you are actually THAT good or superior in your craft, that you can do anything and make it shine like gold. It´s big business. But so it is, to be President or a struggling poet, wearing masks. Thank you for great music on both sides.

Sleep token is lazy 🦥….IN A EXAGGERATED MID EVIL VOICE!!!!!!! IN TWAT WHEYYY GOOD SIR!!!, HOW is sleep token lazy? In general like there song writing ? Maybe a raging guitar shredder would criticize the abstract guitar parts but that's a style choice for Harmony and to let there drummer turn every song into a long pure progression format drum solo, the live touring for sleep token has been nothing but love for the fans, you can tell they are choosing to spend an insane amount of money on there touring and stage set up, I'm 51 years old, I saw pink Floyd live on the Delicate Sounds of thunder tour when they were loosing money how how much they were spending for the stage, sleep tokens most recent tour is the best thing I've seen live to date, they didn't just match the album with the multiple tracks and layers, with the added singers it's more, unbelievably good. Worship 🙏
