It literally just occurred to me "Spidermans control" means his self control. Like he can literally punch your head clean from your shoulders, but the only time he ever comes close is when someone literally steals his body and doesn't realize how strong he is. And then they proceed to have an existential crisis realizing Peter could have killed any of them at any time.

I can’t really call any artists this successful a couple of hacks but… I really genuinely hate that this beat doesn’t go any heavier or have any low end whatsoever.

I think "I want something just like this" means:
Your Girlfriend doesn't need a hero or rich bastard… just someone casual enough to get her on this amazing Coldplay-concert.
    Which is
    a) actually sweet and relatable, as well as
    b) an act of blatant self-congratulation on Coldplay's part.

One thing that makes the live version of Something Just Like This that Todd used different from the studio version is that the guitar solo (which more EDM drops really do need because guitars are awesome) is much higher in the mix.

How you can not like lyrics to Rush Of Blood-era Coldplay songs but relate to this devoid pap is beyond me. It's so devoid it's not even devoid of anything. It's just devoid.

I actually understood older Coldplay more just because I know Chris Martin was a huge Raiohead fan and tried to go for their Bends era of music. But their newer albums are hit or miss with me.
