I'm not a Poison fan but I enjoyed hearing Faraci talking about how they how they scratched it together. That guy Browde saying we removed the barrier of entry of having talent cracked me up. Bro there was punk rock 15 years before Poison.

What's crazy is they put on the best show out all the bands on this latest stadium tour. Motley and Def Lepard got all the fancy lighting and effects but Poison put on the best raw performance, in my opinion.

The band rode CC’s coat tail for a long time because he was older, he had more experience as a musician and was far more talented than the other 3.

Sorry, bands like Poison ruined the metal scene of the 80's… Dio was absolutely right. Ultimately it was the fault of the record companies trying to sign the same band over and over, but the music took a back seat to the look.

I was hooked when i saw Talk Dirty to Me. Loved the whole album. I learned all the rythm guitar parts and picked leads here and there on guitar. My band in high school used to cover a few Poison tunes. It drove chicks crazy. Lol!

I was never into these hair bands but I listen to these guys now and they are actually pretty good. The guitar playing is quite good in particular.
In the very early 90s some guy was at the Chestnut Street Pub in Emmaus PA claiming to be the drummer of this band. I recall he had makeup and the hair and a real attitude. I seem to remember none of us believed him but Mechanicsburg PA is very close to Emmaus. This was in the early 90s so they were totally not popular anymore, Nirvana was big at the time.

I am still not sure if it was him but I suspect it was. To be honest I was not at all impressed, but years later I started to realize it certainly could have been him. He was alone and was drinking a lot.

Not a big fan of Poison but they put the effort in what they could do and had the luck and timing you needed. 5 years later they wouldn't have made it out of their garage

I’m so lucky I got kicked out of the Troubadour the night Poison played. My friends made me go. I did not like Poison at all. I narrowly escaped seeing them. I liked Guns n Roses.

Soild pop rock songs. Before you say how horrible they are, turn on the radio. Any bamd out there wishes they could write a hook like 'talk dirty to me' or a cheese fest like Every Rose.
