    It's prolly true that "all we have is each other" but if so, that's a problem, imo. Because where i love (modern, western, capitalist, liberal, individualist) there seems to be very lil' recognition of the importance of community. I see people every day who are hurting, damaged, alone or angry, mean and selfish or some combination of.

    I'm about ready to bow out 😢

    Didnt use to be this way, i used to love talking to everyone now i just look at everyone with resent and disgust. Everyone just demands respect and dont try to earn it

    I’m glad I’m a child because adults have to do actual work and have actual goals. My goal right now is literally just to finish one piece. I had a conversation with my dad and it lead to him listing things he wanted in life which took him a considerable amount of time and then I proceeded to say that all I want right now is 10 dollars. Now I think I know why adults wish they where kids again.

    Very insightful and im happy to not really be a member of society anymore.

    After being targeted by numerous families, scapegoated for a collective of about 70 ish years by the relentless horde of entitled toddlers in adult bodies i can honestly say the human species can ride the bullet train to hell.
    Ill just hang back with a beer and wave as it goes by… 👋 see ya'll, have fun in that festering toilet bowl…

    I work in an art store and you’d think artists would be deep thinkers but no they suck even more – because they’re in it for their ego.

    Working in retail has convinced me (on some days) that humanity deserves its inevitable demise from climate change.

    It’s so ironic that when the pandemic struck we all talked about the hope of how this might have changed society and how we view life for the better and it appears that everything (for the most part) has gotten even worse since. Nothing can cure human nature apparently.

    People do suck and when all the good people stand by sidelines bad becomes the normal and not bad anymore, hope idk, u can really see those who turn to the dark side and don't believe there anything more than what we are doing and are nothing greater than that

    I have a high standard for considering someone "good." Very high, much higher than most. Here's how I determine if someone is good:

    You've heard of the trolley problem before, right? If you already know what it is just skip to the next line. A tram is going to hit 5 people tied up but there's another track with 1 person tied up instead of 5. There is a switch that lets you change there the tram is going to go. Now, do you switch the tram to hit the 1 person instead of the 5 or do you not touch the switch and let the 5 people die.

    NOW, here is how I tell if you are a good person or not. Take this problem but instead of it being one person tied up, it's you that is tied up. You are still in reach of the switch. Does this change your answer? Will you let yourself get hit by the tram instead of letting the 5 people die?

    If you let the five people die instead of yourself you are a coward. Selfish. A bad person. If you would not give your life to save 5 lives then you are 100% selfish human scum. That's how I see it. Your life is equal to one other person's life. If you would let five people die just to save yourself you don't deserve to be human.

    I’m in high school. A few months ago, j was in a bad place. My friends/classmates in one of my classes went too far with me when I couldn’t handle the heat. I loudly freaked out in that class publicly many times. What does this make me? I felt sort of an ignorant shame about it, not really giving it too much thought because I subconsciously thought that it was a terrible, childish thing and that thinking about it would make me sad? What does this make me? I have adhd and my all time low was for sure a factor, as well as they drove continents over the line and took joy in me being distraught? Am I just this child toddler? Or am I just normal? There’s more factors to it like with all of this, it was morning on a day I was expecting to be bad because of anxiety. But then again, am I only using these facts as a way to absolve myself from responsibility and to cope from being a jackass manchild, or is this analogy my anxiety kicking in? It’s a little bit of a paradox.

    Retail really does make you a punching bag. When I worked at a gas station I had countless death threats against me on top of older people telling me to unalive myself over minor inconveniences

    I'm wondering who walks into a retail store and starts talking politics and work ethics. When I walk into a retail store the only intention I have is to buy clothes and I don't speak about anything else.

    I've seen enough of people being a-holes to each other in my 49 years to know that we just need to go away. I try to live my life by the mantra that you should treat others like you want to be treated but I see that too many people just don't care for the same.

    They kill animal make stupid bombs having no toughts that they can br like meteor explosion that can extinct human which is good cause i dont seeing fake new,trolls,and want attention and tiktokers and family vloggers i done is this god plan for us the world is beutiful not humans is bad but i sure god will make a plan in a right time

    Humans suck and I disagree with people who say there are more good then bad. First of how do they know this? Have they met every person to come to that result? Everyone has to be nice to you because they will be punished and so forth. Everyone treats you bad to make themselves feel better. I trust only a few people in life that are not bad but animals and fictional characters I prefer because they are not stupid, anoyying, lazy, lame, childish but claim that they are mature, unfunny, obnoxious and back stab people to make themselves look good. I love being alone

    I'm a misanthropist in a sense that I hate human species across all historical periods and ever since I was a child, humans made it clear that they're just a bunch of superstitious animals in pretty clothes driven by fear and aggression. I do not have any hope for this civilization and I don't say it in a negative way because the fact that it will end eventually is a happy thought.
    BUT I do discipline myself to always treat each person as an individual with potential to be better than this because change is possible on individual level. It's hard to do tho so I understand why most people fail at such approach… It's exhausting to give everyone a fair chance and be disappointed over and over again thousands of times before it finally pays off with one person among thousands. But it's worth it, I think.

    Just stumbled across this video. Truly, thank you for making it. One thing I learned from watching it must be that you aren't alone in thinking like that, even though it may seem like it. Feels… reassuring?
