Patti Labelle Puts Freeloading Maga Family Members “On Your Own”

Patti LaBelle is the hero we needed. Labelle’s nephew and adopted son says his Trump support cost him his relationship. William “Byl” Holte says his support for Donald Trump led to years of estrangement from the singer. Patti Labelle put him on the path to get a New Attitude. You gotta be On My Own. FAFO. Truthfully, given how many Black celebrities and entertainers have been revealed to be Maga, this was a welcome shift. Patti Labelle is a real one about the Black community. Holte write:

“Here’s what supporting TRUMP cost me: My aunt is Patti LaBelle, famous singer AND DEMOCRAT. Christmas 2019, she had just informed me that I had to move out of the home I had happily shared with her for 12 years,” Holte wrote. “So when I heard her and my family talking about what a threat Trump was, I asked her ‘why should I be afraid of Trump when you’re the one who just made me homeless?’

It went poorly as Patti Labelle fans, Democrats, and even Republicans with self respect flooded his mentions. FAFO. Looks like it’ll be another few years before that estrangement ends. But refusing TMZ was a solid start.
